What started as a passionate hobby for the founder Ryan Isted quickly became a passionate business. At LUM EX we don’t believe in promoting our products or “investment narratives”. We believe the product and the reason you own it/or want to own some, speaks for itself. 

Our goal is to simply build a long lasting relationship with our clients for years to come, to offer the best products at the lowest prices we can get our hands on.

Visited and utilised by hundreds of people across the country for our precious metals services. RL ISTED T/A LUMEX is registered with FIC and thereby complies with its strict Anti Money Laundering (AML)/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) policies and procedures. Home - Buying & selling

All buying and selling are done via the website and trusted courier service, LUM EX never does business with 3rd parties or cash deals/cash deposits (only EFT’s in the buyers/business name will be accepted) in the long run this is for the safety and security of our clients.

As the price action in precious metals is highly volatile, the prices on the website might change slightly to lower or high of the quoted price sent to you. When proof of payment has been sent to us we can lock in the price. Once the money clears and reflects in our account the shipment will be sent.

For first time buyers, all purchases can only be concluded once we have received a valid copy of the purchase I.D and proof of residence.  If the purchase is to be conducted through a company/business, we require CK documents, shareholders ID and additional documentation where deemed necessary in terms of FIC’s AML/CFT prerequisites.

Please note LUM EX only caters for S.A residents at this stage.

Unfortunately, no trading is offered over weekends as prices can only be locked in with the suppliers on weekdays. Gold prices need to be locked in before 12 pm on the given day of business.

All invoices need to be paid within the business day of issue, to secure/lock in the quoted price and proof of payment must be sent to us.

Home - Shipping

As soon as the money has cleared in LUM EX account we’ll dispatch the shipment to you, based on the courier companies schedule. Once they have collected the package you will be notified via mail with the shipment ETA and tracking code.
